"We hope you're in the air..."

Are we writing from an airplane? Well, no - and yet we are still thanking the Lord!

Thank you to the many praying for our travel plans. After a weekend of waiting, praying, and trying to find out as much information as possible after unexpectedly receiving our visas, we were able to switch our tickets for half the price we had expected to pay. We were not able to fly today as Air Niugini requires paper tickets and their office was closed over the weekend - so we will be flying out, Lord willing, on September 24th at 1:05 am. My sister Emily was able to change her ticket also and will be flying with us, which will be a blessing for us all! We're wrapping up last details (Elias just wore out his shoes, I need to find food dye for the three birthday cakes that loom in our future, we'll do our final pack and weigh for our boxes, etc etc).

Thank you for lifting our family up during this crazy past week. It culminated with a Sunday evening trip to Urgent Care to get Tim's chin glued back together after a nasty fall on a coffee table. Please pray for our safety and peace - and that we would keep our eyes on our loving Father in the midst of the chaos of change! ~Elizabeth for us all
