What it boils down to...

A man, now able to read, sitting down with the word of God, written in his
own heart language, enabled by the Holy Spirit to understand, apply, and
then teach it to others. Yesterday at the believers meeting, Kibo stood up
and shared on Romans 7:1-5. He had not asked the missionary for a topic, he
had not looked around at others in the village so that he could bring a
message that would 'fix' them. He had simply been captivated once again by
the radical message of the Word of God. I sat there, not understanding much
of what he said, but what was abundantly clear was the impact of his message
- God's message through him - on other believers. I took this picture of a
Nakui young man who, listening intently, was highlighting verse 4 as
application was made.

"Therefore, my brothers, you also were made to die to the Law through the
body of Christ, that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised
from the dead, that we might bear fruit for God." Romans 7:4

Please remember the Nakui church - who all are joined together with you in
Christ. Especially remember Tuti, one of the teachers who is teaching in
another village four hours hike away.
