News! (Some great, some not so much...)

"I laughed so hard that my heart hurts right here." - Tim pointing to his tummy when we were playing duck duck goose tonight.

Please take time to thank the Lord with us: at our appointment today, we learned that Elizabeth's blood levels are both close to normal! (Did I mention she is feeling pretty good too?) We also learned that the probable culprit for her sudden slide were some anti-malarial medicines that we were on.

So what does that mean for us? Well, we are now free to continue to move forward in our plans for working with the Pal people. (It is a special blessing that the majority of our work will take place at above 3,500 feet - the height at which malaria becomes less of an issue.) You can continue to pray for Elizabeth throughout our career here in PNG as she is now extremely limited in her anti-malarial options.

So that is the great news, here is some that hit me a little hard this morning: Kogol, a Pal man that I spent time with in January died suddenly this last week. He had no chance to hear the gospel. He had no hope. In his death, I have been reminded again of the urgency of our task here in PNG. Will you pray with us for the health of the Pal people as they wait for the truth that will set them free?

Thanks so very much for your partnership,
Nate for the Claasens
