Back in Madang

"This is our style."
- Almost exactly one year ago, Nate took this picture at the Madang Show - a festival of tribal culture and dance.

Wow, back home to the heat of Madang. We have just finished our first week here at Tagog, the NTM base for Madang. This week was full with meetings, unpacking, sorting, and furniture building.
We are planning to write more very soon so please stay tuned, we are just sorting out the details of life for a few days more.

In the meantime, please be praying with us as we gear up for house-building and our transition to the bush this Fall:
* Multiplied time - between planning, building furniture, maintaining contacts, meetings as a team and with other folks, and just living here in Madang, it seems as though we could use an extra 12 hours in every 24.
* Wisdom in planning - what to purchase when and from who is hard to know. Also, we want to keep the future church in mind: Are we insisting that everything is in place before we are willing to step out of our comfort zones and bring the good news to others who do not have it?
* Relationships - between ourselves and our partners. Our partners are some of our best friends and we respect them highly... we’d ask the Lord to help us maintain that level of friendship and respect in this stressful time.
* Finances - we still have less than what is needed for us to finish our house in Pal.
* Kids - with one transition successfully behind us and a much bigger one in front of us, we are aware that our little guys might be the most stressed of all of us in the coming months.

As always, thanks so very much for being our coworkers in the ministry here.
Nate for the family
