Photo Brief

Hey there friends and family. We have been especially busy these last couple of weeks and haven’t put up much for prayer – and yet its these busy times that we feel the need for you all the most. Here are a couple of photos and a couple of things we’d appreciate your prayers for. Thanks for standing with us.

Elizabeth hanging with friends – a large community gathering (multiple language groups) is being hosted here in Pal. Everybody was dressed in their best to wait for the important guests to arrive.

PRAY: We are ambassadors for Christ not just for the Pal people, but also for anyone else who shows up. As happens everywhere – neighboring communities have heard lots of fantasticly wild stories about the white people in Pal. Pray with us that God will be using the relationships that we are making to build His church in the Adelbert Mountains.

The first literacy class is nearly 1/3 of the way through. We have lots of excitement and effort there. Here are our friends at *recess* still working away at reading simple stories.

PRAY: We are putting the post-literacy program in place and there is a boatload of work to do for that. We are hoping to have some able and willing teacher-trainees for the second course in January. That in the midst of our other work…you get the picture…

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith-- to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ!
