Out of our depth.

We've been taking on more medical work here than ever before because of the
lack of supplies and staffing at governmental aid posts. We've given many
malaria treatments for adults and children who have no other access to the
needed medicines. One of our good friends went and tried to get help at a
clinic near town and when they were unable to help him, he hiked the full 2
days back into Mesi-land with a fist sized tropical ulcer on the back of his
neck*. We are seriously surprised that he made it here (and are glad to help
him). Thanks so much for giving so generously to meet the spiritual and
physical needs of our Mesi friends.

These days are full of practical teaching for the Mesi families. We are
working with them to understand how to commune with God as they go about
their daily activities. This is a pretty big deal for some of them as they
have been thinking about prayer as something limited to bedtime or church.
We'd appreciate your continued prayer for us and the young Mesi believers as
they begin to depend on God for the strength to leave their old ways behind.
