Whirlwind - Photo update
Thanks so much for continuing to pray for the Mesi people. So much is happening that it is hard to write about it all. Here are a few pictures to give you a glimpse of our lives this last month.
Nate for us 5
The younger woman in this picture is a previous graduate of our literacy school. Here she helps her mother (newly graduated) read a story.
We are excited to begin literacy school in N village in 3 short weeks.
Here one of our literacy teachers (and Bible teacher in training) relaxes while food is cooking at our graduation celebration. Michael is slated to be one of the teachers that will be at the literacy school in N village.
Elizabeth greets graduates as they enter the school to receive their diplomas.
We never thought it was possible that Nate’s sister would be able to come and visit – but she did. Nate’s mom who has made the trip before was also able to come. What a sweet time we had together for the first 3 weeks of January. (Alright Dad, how about it??)
Tim and Elizabeth hike together to the weekly women’s Bible study. We are very thankful that our kids are both willing to support the work here and able to enjoy some of the challenges that it brings. Note Tim’s footwear. It is pretty amazing to us that the boys are able to wear loose fitting slip on shoes where we like to have cleats.
