Whooping Cough?

 Hey dear praying friends, just a quick request for prayer.

We got a phone call yesterday from one of the Mesi Bible teachers.  "A terrible cough is sweeping through every Mesi village, and people are coughing until they vomit. We have had three deaths in the last two days."  

We don't know if it is whooping cough (pertussis), but our mission doctor thinks that it is likely and that we should be prepared as we travel into Mesi-land ten days from now.

Please pray with us:

-for our team.  Our dear co-worker families returned today from their home assignments in Germany and the U.S.A!  Pray that we will be unified in knowing how to address this concern, in addition to the needs of the Mesi church, during our time on the ground at the end of July.

-If it is whooping cough - pray with us that we will be able to track down treatment and vaccination in order that lives may be spared.
