Apparently, we hit the ground running when the school year started in early August and we haven't looked back!
A few highlights and lowlights from last three silent months, in no particular order:
| Elias (in yellow) joined the volleyball team and loved training as a setter |
We thank God that He spared the life of our Mesi friend G., who lost her first baby in a very difficult stillbirth. Here, G. and Elizabeth wait in the back of our car for a follow-up clinic appointment after her medevac and recovery. Some special gifts made the purchase of this little car possible! Thank you!
| Elizabeth helped organize homeschool testing and parent meetings for our area missionaries, Nate led our bi-yearly week-long Church Development meetings for the field of PNG. |
| A massive earthquake hit Sept. 10th. Our house was severely shaken, we cleaned up dirt, glass and ceramic shards for a week afterwards! |
| Special time for Tim, Nate, and the senior class climbing Mt. Wilhelm. The view from 15,000 ft! |
Nate helped our Mesi friends organize a flight for their dried vanilla beans. Mesi Bible teachers served by weighing and organizing this project for the community.
| The "road" that Nate drove down and back (6 hours each way) last week in order to help connect with and give language checks to new missionaries who are learning PNG's trade language. |
Nate got to interview Tim and the other 12th grade students during Central Area Conference. This year's conference for our area missionaries was the first since 2019!
Thank you for praying for us! Nate leaves on Friday for another trip, this time he will be meeting with Ethnos360 leaders from all over the world. Please pray that the time will be fruitful, helpful, and encouraging for all!
