"To desire action is to desire limitation..."
To desire action is to desire limitation. In that sense every act is an act of self-sacrifice. When you choose anything, you reject everything else. -G K Chesterton
Wow, what a blessing it is to be linked together in prayer with so many of God's people. Thanks so very much for your partnership with us in seeking the Lord this week. It has been a good time to for us to make some firm decisions about what this next season of our lives will look like.
To sum it up, we are resolved to make August 15th our departure date for the field. We do not know yet what our exact job will be there, but we are confident that the Lord will direct us into the precise ministry that He has for us.
With those things in mind, you can be praying for:
- Organization. There are so many things to keep track of, we don't want anything to fall between the cracks as we get ready to go.
- Opportunity. We are very interested in continuing to encourage churches about missions. There are so many who need to hear of Christ - it is a world-size job.
- Marriage. With all that we are doing, we have made the commitment to each other to really engage in partnership together.
Nate, for the family
PS. Funny kid stuff: The other day in the store, we were talking about races and Noah piped up:
I'm so fast, I can run ten gallons per minute!
