Running the race

We just wanted to share a couple of praises with you all today:

• We heard from NTM folks who have been working with the PNG government that (although our entry permits have not been granted) there is progress on that front and we can start to make more definite plans... I guess I'll be doing alot of calling travel agents tomorrow.
• Elias has transitioned into a real walker today. Sure he had been doing a bit of tottering around (mostly between handholds) for the last month or so, but he was really trucking around the house today. We were really hoping that this time would come before we left for PNG so he would not have to be so much, shall we say; 'one with the mud'.
