It's a date!

Last Friday night some good friends of ours sent us out on a date - our first since we've arrived here in Papua New Guinea! They decided to make a party of it and sent another couple here at the center out on a date as well. 9 kids (you only see 8 here because the youngest is only 3 mos. old and just wasn't interested in the movie yet!) wolfed down 30 pancakes for dinner and a whole lotta popcorn while watching JayJay the Jet Plane. Our boys were delighted with the experience and can't wait to see us leave again. ;D
During our date we had a long stretch of uninterrupted conversation. As you parents know, this is priceless! And we were thanking God for the time as we have been wrestling through many, many questions over the last weeks. Questions about how God is directing us, questions about what the next years will look like, and questions about what will bring about His glory. Pray for us that we will have open ears for His guidnace so that we can make wise decisions.
We have been thanking God for some time to connect and plan with Mason and Kim Lockwood, our teammates. Please be praying with us for unity and clear direction over these next weeks as we meet together. Pray too for Mason as he travels out to another region to participate in a planning/contact trip this next week. He will be learning the ropes so he can help us out here. Don't forget to pray for his wife too - she will be taking care of their three boys while he is away.
We appreciate you so very much. Thank you for sending us and keeping us here!
