By the looks of things, Dad is in trouble again….

The Scope of Our Lives

Continuing on our themes of the last couple of weeks, we’ve been thinking a bit about the scope of our lives. Here in the States, we are meeting with people regularly who are spread over a 100 mile radius from our current abode in Dixon. We’ve been in at least 10 different churches since coming back. We’ve wallowed in snow at 8,000 feet above sea level and dashed about in shorts and t-shirts at the parks in unusually hot February weather. Our dining has ranged from fine to fare in which every dish has a name that is proceeded with a Mc. In Pal, our lives are lived within a 5 mile radius from home in shorts and t-shirts (and an occasional sweatshirt), with the same folks, doing basically the same things over and over every day. It is hard to describe the intensity that that narrowness produces. Would you pray with us that while here, we are able to keep focused to accomplish all that needs to be done in this limited time and while in Pal, we are able to step back and see the bigger picture of what God is doing.
