Answer to Prayer
Thank you to all who prayed for the general community meeting that took place Tuesday night…
Here the school building is beginning to take shape. We hope to be ready for classes in 2 months.
All praise to Him! We had been praying as a team from the words of Daniel 2:21-22
“He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
He reveals deep and hidden things;
He knows what lies in darkness,
And light dwells with Him.”
We didn’t know where the best place was to put the necessary school building, OR what was in the hearts of the community ‘movers and shakers’ - but He did, and He directed their course. The brief and peaceful meeting resulted in the school location being settled on a central piece of ground (about 15 minutes’ walk from our house); the area is already being cleared by work parties prepping for construction to begin. We are seeing excitement and anticipation build and we pray that will continue over the weeks to come.
The boys got in on the fun as well, working to clear ground at the school site.

And speaking of work parties…
A small team from one of our sending churches is planning on travelling to Papua New Guinea this October to help put on our annual conference (encouraging tribal missionaries through the Word and putting on a VBS and youth program for kids and teens). The team will also travel back into Pal with us for a brief visit!
The trip dates are (roughly) Sept. 29th-Oct.12th.
