Mesi Bible teachers meet to pray before teaching

Outreach!

Over a month ago, teams of Mesi Bible teachers began teaching in N. village. Making the three hour hike early each Monday morning, they arrive by 10 am or so and teach a review lesson.  After a brief break, they'll teach a new lesson, followed by two more lessons each on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.  Starting with Creation, the people of N. village are hearing the story of God's redemption of His people and the promised Messiah.

They're also watching the lives of the Mesi Bible teachers (and other believers) who are living amongst them for several days each week.  Our co-workers, Axel and Chris, are also taking turns to hike and live in N. village for these days.  As they cook, eat, answer questions and talk together around the fire, they are seeing excitement for God's Word and for His plan come to life in N. village.

Will you please pray regularly for the ~150 people who are coming faithfully to hear His Story taught?  Pray that they will:

• Turn away from old lies that told them that the way to prosperity was by 'worshipping' through sex or magic rituals.
• Turn away from current lies that try to 'spin' the Gospel to be about our own health, wealth and prosperity
• Recognize their need for a Savior and God's provision through His Son!

And, please pray for the Bible teachers, including Chris and Axel.

• Pray that they and their families will stay healthy through days of separation.
• Pray that their productiveness will be multiplied as they have taken on an extra teaching load.
• Pray that Jesus' name will be made great by the way that they live and love amongst the N. community.
