Dear Jesus, thank you for Mr. Those Guys...
We have a new term here in the Claasen household: Timism. Here are a few shining examples from the last several weeks:
- "My [grandma] is a nursery" - about Nate's mom who is a registered nurse
- "Dear Jesus, thank you for Mr. Those Guys..." - praying for some missionary friends whose picture he was looking at
- "I wouldn't trade you for a fire truck." - highest form of complement that he could think of
- "...and Chicken!!!" - discussing the ingredients of a plain flour tortilla
We are constantly in wonder at what God is doing. There were a number of things that happened just this last week that you can praise God with us about:
- All of the money for our plane tickets was provided! Now we just are waiting for word on the work permits/visas. Thanks a bunch Cornerstone and Cornerstone Youth!
- Several new meetings have been scheduled unexpectedly.
- Someone gave us a gift that will cover Malarone costs while we get acclimatized to the field. (this is an answer to prayer from a couple of weeks ago)
Thanks for praying. We hope to hear in a week or so that the PNG embassy in Washington DC is ready to stamp our passports. Please keep praying with us about that as well!
