Survey Prayer Update: Day 2
Have you ever thought about trying to tell a tribal person about: GPS?
This really happened on our last survey. Mason was marking the location of a village on the GPS and tried to explain the process to an interested bystander. Here is what it sounded like:
(at that point I was almost rolling on the ground laughing, the tribal guys was sitting there politely listening, but obviously totally without comprehension.)
Today we will have a few villages to visit in the K. area, then we will be hiking down the ridgeline to M. and possibly P.
Most of our efforts today will be in contacting the people in each village. Pray that most of the people will be close to the villages rather than out in their garden houses. We want as many as possible of them to hear and see us for themselves.

Well, this is a little computer...uh...machine that ...uh... talks to satellites...uh... well there are these things called rocket ships...uh... it is kind of the same thing as shooting a gun...uh... and there are these other machines that are shot so hard that they don't come down...and uh...well it is like a radio...uh....
